Checkerboard Raceway The Most Diverse Off-road Course Around Checkerboard Raceway Hammonton, NJ Checkerboard has grown quite a bit since we first started racing there. The track is actually in track owner John's front yard � so it's not a track you can visit unannounced. However, Ray from SJCCR often runs off road events there, and now the track has a full time race director, running races on a bi-weekly basis. A very 1/8th scale friendly track, large and fast - and new changes to the track have altered its once unique character to a "more traditional" track for more universal appeal.
