Hey Ray :) The New Jersey Vintage Grand Prix Festival is slated for May 29-31 2009 at NJ Motorsports Park! Are you gonna set something up with them again this year? It should be warmer than last year.....and hopefully dryer as well!

Yep, already been in contact, and is on the schedule.....just have a work on a couple of small details.

I'll make an announcement about the 09 USVTA/RCGT schedule in a week or two.

Thanks!!!!!!

I vote for the Scooby rules. I don't like that we are limited to one manufacturer...It is NOT fair!! I also believe we should be allow to run wings...especially for the bodies that don't even have a spoiler. Again for us Ford freaks there is no option!

the rules are as is - as we all know, there is a HUGE discussion on the rctech thread about the 21.5 motors...but as of now, there is NO change planned for the motors...

and you can run a spoiler on the back of the mustangs...the mustang is the only chassis that comes with a wing, no idea why HPI did that and don't allow wings even at their challenges...

make a spoiler from lexan (I know scooby did this on the mustang he ran - its legal and within the USVTA rules)...I've run the 'cuda (with a spoiler) and the sheby body and there isn't any diffence between the 2 - BOTH are just as squirrelly as the other...and from what others (on rctech) that have run all 3 HPI bodies - the spoiler makes no difference

Like I've argued since this class was first talked about...this class is being run all over the US and everyone is running the posted USVTA rules - why do we need to be any different?
