Hey, Jimmy Jenson told me to check this race out, but I've got a few quick questions:

A) Membership??.......... Do I have to join to race??

B) Truck chassis, Stock or Anything goes like a Barts

C) Engine Size 12's or 15's......... can I run a 15 Big Block?

D) Tires?? Rubber ProLines of Foams

Thanks, johnnyO

I am just a fellow racer, but I am not aware of any oval truck rules. Normal gas truck rules include .15 or under engine, truck body, stock fuel tank, truck arms, 2.2 or 2.8 wheels, ect. I know I also plan to run a custom chassis I made just for this track and others like it. As far as a tire rule, we don't race trucks that much so I would ask to leave that open, and if we find foam has a overwelming advantage that adjust the rules accordingly. But I would't announce a tire rule 8 days before the big race. Just my 2 cents.

A Big pinion, about a 24 with a 56 spur. Proline Strikers work best and last more than foams, Any 1/10th truck, plus a ton of wedge to keep the right front down as much as possible. This is the fastest paved track in the east.....................Same shape as Indy

Hey don't think it's critical but pre-register for this event at http://www.rcsignup.com. Go to events and scroll down. You don't have to pay untill you get there.

OK Jimmy I signed up................... since there's no tire issue of what you can run, I'm going to try and modify my dirt foams with an outside piece of hard foam......... kind of a home made RC4Less "Plaid"..... Purple outside / Pink inside...... what kind of lap times is this track?????

Yes Jim McCurdy had the TQ and Jim Jensen won the Main.

Johnny, Team Red would know best, they were just there. I think we were running 8s to slow 7s on ruber. But it's a big track.
