Just a reminder that the next race at the Alpine will be run OVAL for NASTruck...We will be lowering the gear ratio to give the trucks a bit more speed...We haven't decided to what ratio yet though.....I floated 6.00 as a possibility...

GEAR RATIO UPDATE FOR RETRO DAY

We will be using 6.0 for the gear ratio when we run the NASTrucks on the oval course this Sunday at Da'Alpine...If you need a pinion of a certain size, post here and lets try and help everyone get as close to 6.0 as possible...remember it is 6.0 or over, not under for the oval race :)

IE: I am in need of a 41 tooth pinion (YES 41!) for a TC3 with a 100 tooth spur gear....

You can use the gear ratio calculator in the menu bar above, or you can BETA test the new one here: http://www.sixfoottiger.com/content/ind ... ator.index

Jon

if you switch it to 48 pitch for the day a 72t stock spur and a 30t pinion will give you a 6.0

Yea, I think you're gonna have to take it apart...I don't think there is gonna be anyway in hell that you're gonna get a 100T spur and a 41t pinion in a TC3 :P

96 spur and 40 pinion will work too, but you'd still have to dissect the car to make it happen...
