Ok...to get away from the smack talk for a second :-P :P

Does anyone know where I can get numbers for my truck?? I can't find any from Autographics - that are # 14....

Anyone with a sticka and some vinyl wanna make me some?? :-P Would like some really cool graphically-skilled designed ones :-P If anyone can, please shoot me an email :-P[/quote:q4kejt3x]

I believe there was once a Channelock #14 Nastruck, I thought Autographics carried the decals, but I could be wrong.

No, it doesn't HAVE to - but it seems to be a common theme that people are going with, and it would probably be better for the class if we all did. I'm not a big fan of specific paint jobs - I like to be creative - but I'm painting a NASCAR styled body this time around. I think it's better for the class, considering the body choice.

No where that I know of - I guess none of the shops are watching.

Yes - with the open springs, we decided that a drastic change wasn't necessary - the new ratio will be 7.0, and you should be able to get PLENTY of speed at that ratio with open springs. Use the "[b:2bx79tyr]gear ratio calculator[/url:2bx79tyr][/b:2bx79tyr]" to determine what pinion/spur combo to use.

I am very intersted in this class. Just yesterday I posted something on my local forum about doing something similar. I got a lukewarm responce from my buddies.
When, and Where is the First race? It's a long drive for me. East end of Long Island, but I would love to come down and run with you guys. If someone can send me some info on the schedual, and the rules it would be grealty appreciated. I think I got most of the rules, Trinty Spec motor, fixed gear ratio, and of course, a truck body. Thanks guys, looking foward to giving this a try.

Hey there....

You can look here: http://www.sixfoottiger.com/admin/index ... /index.cfm

or

Here:
http://www.sixfoottiger.com/phpbb2/view ... 64&start=0

for a schedule, the Alpine events will be running the trucks for sure, we are also looking at visits to Trax70 and Millville for some oval action with the NASTRUCKS....

Feel free to ask any questions you have!!! BTW: April 18th is a free club practice at the Alpine so you can come down, run a little and get to meet everyone....

Got it, I'm ordering the motor today. I should be able to make it down for the free practice the 18th. My one question is, is there electric outlets available at the Alpine loung, or will I need a generator?

Well, it's 11 days to go to the start of the NASTRUCK series. Anyone have photos of their truck bodies, or do I have to wait until race day?
Come on, post 'em on up here and let's see what the competition looks like! :)

Did the gear ratio change for the NASTRUCK Cup Series?? It's listed as 7.2:1.

Thanks

SixAndEightStringer, Can I assume that the ratio has changed.

I just want to make sure I get the right pinion gear.

Thanks

Well, yeah... you quoted my post with the new ratio of 7.0... :)

We haven't updated the document download, but the ratio for NasTruck is 7.0 (last year's Euro Trucks were 7.2).
