In the rules, racers will be using the Trinity “Street Spec” stock motor. 8)

Will there be a similar limitation on the batteries?

Spec batteries would definately take me out of the mix(even before I am even in the mix). Only because I already have batteries.

I am not against spec batteries, they have their merits. Price is relatively cheap, easy to connect to the speedo, and easy to tech. But, if used, you end up with only one source and if availability becomes an issue it creates a problem. Plus, some cars may have to use saddle packs which would defeat the spec pack design and render the packs not legal.

It is probably best to leave the batteries open at this juncture as already had been decided.
