Looking for a new kit to build and thought rally might be interesting...what new kit would you recommend for rally?

Unfortunately, there aren't too many kits widely available anymore :( And even when the kits were available, only 3 companies produced a kit-version Rally - HPI, Losi, and Yokomo...AE made a rally conversion kit for the TC3 and Tamiya has a couple of "rally-insired" kits

Probably the best/easiest build is the HPI Rally - but I'm not sure how many places still have one of them for sale

We've been running RC18R 1/18th scale rally at Zak's. The class is growing and we're having a good time. Much more reliable racing opportunities than with the 1/10th rally cars. Less dirt, though.

What are you guys running in those rally cars? I have started to build one from all the RC18 parts I have from running at PBs.

Riley,

The easiest 1/10th rally conversion is the Associated TC3, all the parts are very easy to find....

Grab a cheapy TC3 off of eBay (50$) and then get the 200mm arms, CVD's, shock shafts and tie rods....DONE.... :) If you want you might want to think about a lexan inner shell, a guy in the UK is molding them...
