Is anyone interested in doing a 3-hour race with me?

I don't know how it would work, because a MT is not going to ba as fast as 1/8th scale buggy.

Info

180 Rotational
Rules

Race will be held Saturday November 4th
Round one will begin at 11am (subject to change)
- 3 Team Members
- 3 Monster Truck, Truggy, Muggy, Buggy, etc.
- Each team member is responsible for his own vehicle (Driving, repairs, fueling)
- No outside help or Sub Drivers (you must drive your own vehicle)
- Only one truck per team on track at a time
- Team must have one truck ready to go at all times
- After run (hold long you run your vehicle before swap is up to you),
vehicle comes in, swaps transponder, next vehicle goes out
- If team has a vehicle break and is not repairable, team must finish with
remaining vehicles – No Substitutes
- Transponders will be handed out by track – if you have a personal in
your vehicle, make sure it is unplugged before entering event
- Team with most laps in 3 hours wins

- First round will consist of first 8 teams that sign up
- If more teams up to a total of 16 join, a second round will be run
- If needed, after both rounds are run, the two winners from each round will
run a 1.5-hour shootout
- Teams should sign up by Saturday Oct 28th at the track or GForce Hobbies.
This will increase your chance of being in the first round
- If you cannot find a team or create one, you may still join, and will be
entered into a lottery to create a team for you.

I don't have a team. The guy from G-force said to show up anyway and they would put me with other people. :(

Yea, I went and a couple of teams from Family Hobbies.

I didn't do so hot. One of the guys on my team left early and the other guy never showed. I think I had 176 laps by my self. Most of the teams did at least 300 though.

Good Job Doc, 176 laps by yourself is sick lol.
There was a max of 16 teams allowed and I think there was about that many teams entered.
This weekend is last race of season at Blue Diamond. Running late afternoon into the night under the lights.
Hey Doc, most discussion about the racing there is done at http://techtalk.teamtrinity.com/tt/foru ... y.php?f=15

i remember my brother asking if i would go to that race...

pisser about this is i used to live about 2 miles (at the Rt13&Rt40 split) from this place... not to mention my parents live even closer, a little down rt13 from where i did... from this place and they started blue diamond when i left delaware and moved to so jersey :'(

and most of the racing here is too far for a regular drive, i live near AC... i have been to the alpine a couple times on race day...

i miss the old days of racing. even when i just did legends at new garden in kennett square :'(

sloopy.

Just to keep everyone up to date. Blue Diamond is open for the season, the offroad track is even bigger, driver stand has been enlarged as well. The asphalt is being layed down for the on road guys, it will be large. stop by and take a look if you havent already. check their schedule here: http://www.bluediamondpark.com/
