Hi Guys,

I have kinda been out of it for some time now. I have been in contact with a number of racers and there has been discussion in regards to the "rc parties" I organized in recent years. Unfortunately, due to the lack of suitable venues and some of my own personal stuff, I have not been able to repeat those events. However, thru conversation with a number of guys I decided to do a 1/12th road trip to the Mushroom Bowl Saturday Feb 2nd. The place opens at noon and the racing starts at 5pm. Though early on I saw that 1/12th was a class that was to be supported at the Mushroom Bowl, micro became the only class that took off.

The plan is to run the class as an open class with maximum HP be 19t. We will decide collectively umoungst ourselves as to what type of power would be best. If there are enough, we may be able to separate and have a stock class for the lesser skilled drivers, but that will be determined by the number of participants. Be aware the facility has a very strict rule on traction chemicals,,,,,,,,,,,,only approved is GOJO white (cream type, no pumice) hand cleaner. This can be obtained at most any auto parts store and some grocery stores. Since this traction additive is untested under the 8 minute time limits of 1/12th, we will be testing to see if 8 minutes is too much time. If the cars become uncontrollable, the time of the events may be dropped to 6 minutes, but this will be a raceday decision too.
